Eu-Sol Tomato Seeds are a FREE SCHOOLS RESOURCE funded by the European Union which help school pupils learn about genetics. The seeds are currently being grown and will be sent out in time for September 2010. To put your schools name down to receive a pack of seeds please click here.

By growing the seeds you can quickly observe characteristics that help to make clear how dominant and recessive traits are passed from one generation to the next. It is also possible to submit the results of growing the seeds on to an internet spreadsheet and compare them to data submitted by pupils from all over Europe. You and your school can be part of a cross continental experiment.
